Cityshore is a place where summer lasts forever
and the sea can be heard even from the highest skyscraper.
Cityshore is an oasis in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle.
Cityshore is a world full of emotions and memories, a collection of vivid images that express my love for the live by the beach.
My aim was to reflect on how the proximity with the sea affects our body and mind, on how the disconnection from the nature that society suffers in the big metropolis affects our mood and wellbeing.
Using analogue photography, I started working on the first Cityshore series using footage form Zarautz, my hometown, and London, where I was based.
With the following artworks I invite you to inmerse yourself in this coastal London where the pace of life slows down and the concrete feels like sand.
